Explore this iconic African country with plenty of safari game drives at the Masai Mara Reserve; there is also a boat ride in Lake Naivasha and a safari game drive at the spectacular Lake Nakuru.

After breakfast at your hotel, depart for Lake Naivasha. Along the way, enjoy the spectacular views of the Great Rift Valley and escarpment.
Arrive at your safari lodge on time for lunch. Following lunch, continue with a boat ride on Lake Naivasha.
Boat safaris are one of the main attractions at Lake Naivasha; the lake is home to over 400 bird species, including pelicans, cormorants, and fish eagles. Hippos and giraffes are also commonly spotted along the shores.
Return to your lodge as the sun sets, and enjoy the wildlife roaming the lodge, such as giraffes, waterbuck, monkeys, and hippos.

Have an early breakfast, and your journey continues with a day excursion to the famous Lake Nakuru. Along the way, pass the unique Lake Elementaita, just between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru, another of Africa's soda lakes. From here, you will soon be in view of Lake Nakuru.
It is well known worldwide for the incredible sight of thousands of flamingos that gather along its shores. The lake's alkaline waters provide an ideal environment for these pink-hued birds, creating a breathtaking display. Beyond flamingos and rhinos, Lake Nakuru National Park is rich in biodiversity. Visitors can spot various wildlife, including buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, lions, leopards, and numerous bird species.
There will be a break for a picnic lunch, and after an afternoon of wildlife viewing, return to the lodge as the sun sets.

After an early morning breakfast, depart for Masai Mara. You will pass by the smallest church in the world, Mai Mahiu Church, built in 1942 by Italian prisoners of war. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch.
Your day continues with an afternoon game drive in one of the world's most sought-after safari game reserves.
The Maasai Mara is part of the larger Mara-Serengeti ecosystem, extending into Tanzania. It encompasses approximately 1,510 square kilometers (580 square miles) of diverse terrain, including vast grasslands, acacia-dotted plains, riverine forests along the Mara River, and occasional rocky outcrops known as kopjes.
Return to your lodge as the sun sets.

Start your day at dawn, enjoy refreshments, and join your guide for a morning safari game drive in the Mara, catching the animals before the day's heat sets in.
Known for its exceptional biodiversity, the Masai Mara is home to vast wildlife. This includes the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhinoceros), cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and a wide variety of bird species.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and relax by the pool or napping.
After lunch, have some free time and continue with an afternoon game drive, returning to the lodge by sunset.
Optional: Before the morning game drive starts, you have the option to add a Hot air balloon ride over the Masai Mara.

After breakfast, you'll depart the Masai Mara for Nairobi and head across acres of rolling wheat and barley farms to Narok Town.
From here, cross the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley while keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle before heading up the rift escarpment.
You'll arrive in Kenya's bustling capital in the early afternoon.
Once in the city, stop for lunch (at your own expense) and continue to Nairobi's International Airport for your departure flight home.

We took the 8 day Masai Mara, Naivasha and Nakuru Safari. The accommodations/food was great, our private tour guides were awesome and so knowledgeable, and the safaris were a once in a lifetime experiences. The additional add-on of the elephant orphanage was so worth the money.

We were able to see the big 5, and 16 lions close by!

We had a good time. Our drivers Hasan in Tanzania and Jacob in Kenya were nice and helpful. All the accommodations and transport were good. Food was good in all the places. There was delay in the flight from Chicago, hence they gave us seat in United and flew directly to Paris.

The trip was amazing! The lodges, food, people and guides were exceptional. No bad experiences at all, except I checked my luggage on the trip back from Zanzibar-Nairobi-Paris-Montreal and it got lost, but even that has not upset me, I enjoyed Africa so much!
